Hutcheson from Stirlingshire, Scotland

These three brothers:

I.*Robert (Thomas) Hutcheson, 1748 Migrated from Sterlingshire, Scotland. Landed in Savannah, GA. US was still a Britsh possession. Married an American wife (Maybe Johnson)Had at least four children:
1.*Richard Mickelwhite Hutcheson, abt,1808(From whom I am descended.)
2.Robert Everard Hutcheson, abt.1810
3.Mary Hutcheson who married Vinor (Winer) Bethel
4.Elizabeth Hutcheson

II.Richard Hutcheson, Migrated with his two brothers.

III.James Hutcheson, Never mentioned again after his migration

*Richard Mickelwhite Hutcheson, d abt.1889 m Charlotte Longley,b New York, d 10 Oct 1864 both died in the Bahamas. (Eleuthera, Governor's Harbor, Bahama Islands)

They had at least 6 children:
1.*Elizabeth Abigail Hutcheson, b 20 Oct 1834, Eleuthera, Governor's Harbor, Bahama Islands (My g grandmother) m Capt. John William Curry, b 28 Jan 1833,Green Turtle Key, Bahama Islands, 19 Mar 1856, Key West, FL. Elizabeth d 07 Oct 1907, Manatee (Now Bradenton, FL) Buried in Adams Cemetery, Manatee, FL. John William d 1921, Buried in Adams Cemetery, Manatee, FL.

The other siblings were:
2.Christiana Hutcheson m John Petty. Moved to CA. Both d in San Fransisco, CA. Had at least three children: Eva, Lilla, and John Petty
3.Robert Thomas Hutcheson m Malinda Harris
4.James Theodore Hutcheson m Ella Unknown
5.Edwin Lawrence Hutcheson, d in San Antonio, TX m Unknown Bethel
6.Ellen Chesapeake Hutcheson m Jabez Pyfrom in Eleuthera, Governor's Harbor, Bahama Islands, Both d Eleuthera, Governor's Harbor, Bahama Islands.

This information was given to me orally by a great aunt, Ella Graham Curry, youngest sister of my grandmother.

Hope this information helps someone. Information from the Bahamas is hard to come by because of destroyed records, both in towns and churches because of storms like the one coming down on us now.
