Hi - I'll give you what little info I have. Unfortunately, I don't have any dates or places with me as I write this, but:

Charles T. Hutcheson was my great-great grandfather. His son Nicodemus had five children: A daughter of unknown name that died in infancy, Amanda (Moore), Bill (William?) "Bije" (Abijah?) and son Nicodemus ("Deem"). Nicodemus and family came to Arizona in about 1873 via wagon train from Missouri, and settled in the Verde Valley of Arizona. We believe that Nicodemus brought his mother, Elizabeth, with them--although I've been unable to verify this thus far--and she is buried, along with Nicodemus' infant daughter in unmarked graves at Beaver Creek, Arizona.

In Arizona, Deem married Sarah Casner, of a family sent south by Brigham Young to colonize Northern Arizona. Deem and Sarah had five children: Cory (who had three sons--Philip, Nicodemus and Gordon), Joseph (no children), Creola (1 child, Carl Greenwell), Clyde (3 children--Imogene, Clydeen, and Joseph); and Nina (4 children--Clyde, Jerry, Robert and Karen).

Nicodemus' brother Shelby was killed in 1864 (presumably in the Civil War), and Nicodemus named one of his son's (I believe born the same year) Shelby. This Shelby went to the Klondike during the Gold Rush and was murdered by his mining partner.

I would really appreciate all the information any of you might have with regard to this family and its ancestry.
