Dear Diedre,
I am coming on to the scene rather late but feel you should know you have one more "cousin" out there in the looking business. I have heard and gathered much informtion from both Ron and Tom on this family and am feverishly looking at my local family history library ( very good one). I am descended from Hiram Dallas, son of John H. He was one of the later children. He had three wives and children from each so it has been fun trip getting all that together. My grandmother is a daughter of his second wife.

The guys have sent me wonderful photos and I have been following up with census records but Robert's father remains elusive.

It is nice to meet another of us and I would like to keep in touch. We lived for 35 years in Fountain Valley, CA and I know well the HB library. I am Nancy Maurer and my e-mail address is
