I am seeking info on the Hutcherson family from Van Zandt County, Texas (Ben Wheeler area). As of now I know the following:
Henrietta Hutcherson (unknown maiden name) was the mother of Ira (born in 1898), R.E., and Willie Hutcherson. Ira Hutcherson married Ida Ford in February 1916 and had Maurice, MJ, Beatrice, Azilee, Eliza and Inez Hutcherson. The family lived in an African American community in East Texas known as Prairie Creek. Any additional info on this family is greatly appreciated.
It is believed that the Hutcherson's may have originally been from Georgia.
