Family Crest/ Coat of Arms

I've searched high & low, all over the internet for our Family Crest. When I was a kid, we had a wooden replica of a crest that had a boars head with arrows crosed below it & the colors Red, Green & Gold. I can't, however, recall the precise positioning of the boar or the arrows.
In looking through the web, I've come across a Crest that shows a lion with 8 Crosses ensquaring (did I just make that word up?) it. The colors with this crest were Red, Blue & Silver. I'm a bit confused & I'd like to know which one is the right one for my line. Obviously, a difficult task... But I guess that that's why I'm here. Can anyone help to clarify?
