Ann Adelia HUSTED [nee DENNIS] 1850 Indiana

I am trying to solve a mystery. My ancestors, Thomas Seymour Husted Jr. of New Canaan, Fairfield, CT and Ann Adelia Dennis of NY were married on 10 MAR 1844 in Calhoun County, MI. They moved to Warren, Marion, IN and appear there from the 1850 Census on. He was a farmer and also a clergyman [he performed the wedding of his son Thomas Seymour Husted 3 and Viola L. Gray]. I believe he was of the Disciples of Christ.

The mystery is...how did Ann and Thomas meet and why did they get married in Michigan? I am speculating that they may have met at Albion College [then Wesleyan Seminary] while he or both of them were attending. They were both college age.

They went on to have at least three children in Indiana: Thomas Seymour Husted 3 [married Viola L. Gray], Margaret A. Husted, and Francis E. Husted [married William H. Barr].

Any help would be useful. Thank you.
