Lewis M. Husted was born in Western, Oneida Co., NY, May 16th, 1837. He was married Dec. 24th, 1862, to Miss. DESDEMONA F. CRANE, daughter of Ulysses P. Crane, of Freedom, Cattaraugus Co.,NY, who died May 20th, 1867. Oct. 9th, 1869, he married his present wife, Miss. LOUISA J. FOX, daughter of Charles M. Fox, of Sheldon, NY, who died March 21st, 1864. Mr. Husted came to Eagle, Wyoming Co.,NY in 1840 with his father, Silas Husted, a native of Halfmoon, Saratoga Co.,NY, and located on the farm he now ownes.
