Arthur Hurney (son of Frank/Annie-Mahoney-Hurney) married Katherine Fay (daughter of Andrew/Julia Hanley-Hay) on Jan 21, 1914 in Lowell MA. It states that both Arthur and Katherine were born in Lowell and he was 34 and she was 26. He listed his occupation as a Foreman.
Later I find Katherine's Maiden name listed as FAY. I find a birth of a child of Arthur & Katherine Hurney....Mildred Hurney born Dec 22, 1914 in Lowell MA.listing fathers occupation as a Signalman for the Railroad. Of note the actual town registry lists the year of birth as 1915.
In the 1920 and 1930 census the family is still living in Lowell and I do not see any other children.
Katherine Fay Hurney died Jan 5, 1946 in Lowell MA. The death certificate lists her maiden name as FAY.
