Am looking for info on ADAM HURD father of MARY HURD and believed son of ADAM HURD. Probalbly born in the middle or late 1700's in Woodbury, CT and moved to Sandgate, VT. MARY HURD married JOSHUA SWEET, date unknown and lived in Dekalb, NY.
Also need info on HANNAH HURD who married SAMUEL BRISTOL in Sandgate, VT in 1776. She was born Roxbury or Woodbury, CT in 1755. Parents were TIMOTHY AND TABITHA FOOTE HURD. They moved to Sandgate, VT. SAMUEL BRISTOL AND HANNAH HURD moved to DePeyster, Dekalb area in New York.
It was reorted that HANNAH later remarried a DAVID GORDON and had a daughter ROXANNA in 1791, Lyman, Grafton Co, NH.
HANNAH died in 1829 in Lyman, Grafton, NH. I have info from Lyman, NH town clerk that a HANNAH HURD and DAVID GORDON lived and died there and had a child ROXANNA that also lived and died there. I am trying to find out if this is the same HANNAH HURD that married my ggg grandfather SAMUEL BRISTOL. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted at donaldcb@charter.net
