You are now asking the 100 thousand dollar question!
WE have been searching for the parents of ALpheus & Electa for the betterpart of 10-15 years now.
We are now looking in the area of northern Vermont as a possibility. Some researchers of thi group of Huntoons think that maybe they are connected to the group from Stanstead Quebec. It is all guess work, in all of Alpheus info it puts his birthplace as Canada and a couple of times Vermont is mentioned.In a recently found obit for Electa it says she came to Canada from Vermont with her husband.
Electa...We do feel she is of Native American decent, very possibly Mohawk.
