My Grandmother was born Cora Huntoon, and I enjoy gathering all I can find on this surname.
Your Hiram Crooker Huntoon, was the son of Aaron Huntoon b. 18 Jan. 1785 in Jefferson, Maine, and died 05 Dec. 1857 in Franklin Co, Maine. Aaron was married to Mary Whipple Pelton, born in 1793 in Maine, and died 11 Nov. 1810 in Maine. THey had 1 known children.
Aaron,is the son of Jonathan Huntoon,b. 1756 and died 16 Oct 1833. His wife was Hannah Chase, b. 1763 and died 03 May 1853 in Maine. They had 6 known children.
