She is the daughter of William Huntington, born 19 Sep 1757 in Tolland, CT and died 11 May 1842 in Watertown, NY and Elvira Dresser. William was previously married to Prescendia Lathrop and had 7 children.

William's ancestry can be traced all the way back to Simon Huntington (the immigrant) who died in 1633.
