I think this is his ancestor (from the Huntington Family Association books):

Simon Samuel (or Samuel Simon) Huntington, born 1813-16, died Sept. 14, 1870, buried in Reynoldsville, PA, was called “Samuel” in the 1850 U.S. census, “Simon” in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. It seems possible that he was a descendant of Simon Huntington, who was baptized in 1759 in New Jersey but in 1807 was in what is now Union Co., PA.
       Children (revised list)
1.       John Andrew, born about 1843

2.       Joshua Clover, born June 30, 1845 in Clarion, PA; oldest child was omitted previously, she is Ellen born 1871 and died April 4, 1888.

3.       Sarah Ellenor, born 1849 in Jefferson Co., PA, died May 29, 1880 of consumption and is buried at Syphert Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA; married George W. Mowry.

*4.       Dorothy “Dot”, born 1850

*5.       Miles, born in April 14, 1852

6.       Juliana, born about 1855

*7.       Archibald, born in July, 1859
