I am seeking information on the connection between my great grandfather James W. Orndorff, (yod 1924),his children , or nieces, and the Huntington family in San Francisco, circa, 1880 to 1924. Orndorff's headstone was lost during the 1930's mass move of coffins from SF cemetaries to be reinterred in the Holy Cross Cemetary in Colma, CA. The only surviving grave marker at his plot bears the name "Huntington", and his scrapbook has a thank-you Xmas note signed by his niece Mary E. Orndorff, Marie L. Huntington, Edith M. Huntington, Millie Webster & Ednah M. Hubert. The note came from the Hotel Richelieu - undated, but there is a 1892 Olympic Club ticket on the same page.
