Dave, so nice of you to post your inquiry. I have talked to Ruth Brown in Ark City, KS and she has said she thought of doing her DNA sample . This way, you can determine if Ida Mae has Native Indian heritage through her mother. AND...you can do it also,,,since you carry the Mitachondria DNA also. And , this will also give you more information on your Schultz line. You or Ruth can contact Ancestry.com to have a DNA kit sent to your home to submit your saliva samples. We pitched in to have our brother's done and have found some info on the Hunter line. Good Luck, Cousin Kay
