My family history tells this story about Thomas Hunter: Born in Rockingham County, Fairfield Parish, Ireland in 1752.Married three times (1) Elizabeth Kyle, died 1791 in PA, (2) A "yound German girl, (3) Jane Noble in 1797 This Jane and Thomas had four children: William Noble, Andrew, Nancy, and Sarah. William married Esther Woodruff Symmes and they had nine children, one of whom was Calvin Symmes Hunter, my grandfather. There are scads of Hunters in Fairfield County and in Greenwood Cemetary.
