Looking for info on John P Hunter born about 1810 Scotland or Pennsylvania. Married Maria Shute(Shutz, Shoot) born in France. First daughter, Charlotte L born in New Jersey about 1833. Other daughters were Elizabeth, Sarah, Julia Ann and Lucinda. Both parents died in the 1840's in Macomb, McDonough Co., Il. Maria's parents were Joseph and Elizabeth Shute from France. She had brothers John, Joseph, George and a sister Sarah. Any help would be appreciated. Charlotte was my great-great grandmother.
