This John Hunter was the brother of my GGM, Harriet Hunter.
Their parents were Ebenezer and Sarah Smith Hunter. There was also another girl named Mary, plus, possibly others.There were many John Hunters; from Scotland to West Virginia. They were connected, some way to the English-born Edward of Hartford, Mason Co . Everyone has passed away that had any knowledge of the families. I'm in hopes some reader may have some info. on the subject. John would have been born c. 1840
