Yes, the Indians slaughtered people, but they were here first!!! I would protect my land and people if someone were to invade. Maybe the INdians knew what was in store when white men came here. And maybe the reason some people "think" there is Indian blood is that so many trappers and men moving west took Indian wives. And sometimes, women were captured by Indians and gave birth to half Indian babies. Some of us just want to know the truth, and are not afraid of what we find.
