I have copies of the Cherokee Rolls, and their is nothing to connect William C. Hunter. Now if he passed for white and his parents had Indian names, I have no way of knowing what their Indian names would be. That same thing happened in my step dads family. They would pass for white, so they could own property. Indians were not allowed to own property. The time frame my William C. Hunter was born in and married was before and after the Indian removal, and he was still in the area he was born for many years, so he was not part of the removal. Thanks for your help. Gena
