Seeking info on the parents of Asa Hunt, Jr. b. ca. 1803 probably in Maine. He mar. 1825 to Alvira/Elvira Smith both then residing in Gouverneur, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Asa, Jr. d. May 1883, Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA. His children: Schuyler G., Eliza E, Orille E., Gilbert W., Adela L. all b. NY. It is possible that Asa Jr.'s parents were b. MA. Asa, Jr. and Alvira in St. Lawrence Co., NY in 1840, 1850 and in Jackson Co., IA in 1860, 70, 80.
