diary of Major James Hunt 'War of 1812'

I am trying to locate a copy of the diary of Major James Hunt. He was adjatant to General Andrew Jackson and was present at the Battle of New Orleans.
According to an email I receiced years ago, the author of the email had found the diary at the Tennessee Archives. Unfortunately I did not get a copy of this diary from him and have not had any luck in locating him.
If anyone knows of this diary, it would be very much appreciated if you would let me know.
