I am searching for descendants of Richard Pennell (middle initial possibly R) and his wife Catherine (Kitty) Hunt. They were married in Derby, England in 1922. Richard was in one of the English regiments (don't know which one) and he and his wife retired to one of the Grace and Favour apartments at Windsor Castle. They lived there in the 1950s and into the early 1960s. They had three sons. I don't have birth dates but I am guessing they were born in the ten years following their parents marriage. John was the eldest by four years and was in the Navy; Mark was the next son and joined his father's old regiment; Peter was a year younger than Mark and was a Marine. They would all have been serving in the 1950s and 1960s. My connection to this family is that Catherine Hunt was my grandmother's first cousin and there was close contact between my family in New Zealand and this family in England. I would love to contact either Kitty's sons or their children. I have photos of the sons, and letters written by Kitty to my mother in the late 1950s and I would be more than happy to share the lovely stories I have about Kitty. Hope to hear from someone, Kathryn Notify Administrator about this message?
