Rex,
The townships you mention in Greene County PA received many immigrants from Hunterdon County, NJ, where I live.Members of the Titus, Phillips, Hunt, and Van Kirk families, to name just a few, migrated there in the 1790's.Col. Theophilus Phillips was there as early as the 1760's (in Monongalia, WV, which became Springhill Township in PA after the Mason Dixon line was run).
Ralph Hunt died in Queens County, Long Island in 1676 or 7.He had four sons, and at least a dozen grnadsons came to Hunterdon County. There is a strong probability, your ancestors will be found among them. The first name Philip was used in the Phillips family, who were heavily intermarried with the Hunts.
If you could assemble a list of Hunts found in those areas inthe 1790, 1800, 1810 census records, I could give you some further clues.
Good Luck
