Thomas Hunt was in the US in 1650 Land records show
Hi!! Has anyone heard of Thomas Hunt? He was in the US in 1650 as land records show. The Hunt genealogy says he was from England and was a High Churchman. He went from Stamford to Rye by 1652 and was a representative in 1664. He was considered one of the most valuable men in the colony and had a title of Goodmen. In 1688 he granted to his son Thomas what has since been known as Hunt's Point, or One Hundred acres lying on the S Side of Gabriel Leggett's land, bounded easterly & southerly by Broncl's.I do not have his wife's name or parents but I do have 3 children they are: Cicely b.Bef.1682; Thomas b.abt.1683; and Agnes b. abt. 1739 in NY or VA. and died abt.1739 maybe NC. Agnes married John Jr. (Legett/ LeGette)Leggitt abt. 1703 in Currituck co. NC., Agnes is my line. Any Help sure would be apprecated, Hope to hear from someone soon. Thank YouPamela Fisk
