Thanks for the post. Names don't match, but locations do. Going back a little farther: William was the father of Henry who came to Ga from NC. He was the father of James, who was Eli's father. James is buried in Putnam and Eli in Jones. Eli was the father of William James who was my granddaddy. The family first showed up in Ga in Putnam, but moved to Oconee and then back to Jones. I think Eli spent time in Henry County also. My Eli's siblings were: Martha, Mary, Ellen,India, and Carrie. James had at least one sister and her name was Amanda Lawson. Any of these names ring a bell?
