I have been trying to solve the mystery of the first husband of Caroline Hunnewell, Hiram Dean. Does anyone know who we was? the only thing I have found on him is in the Portrait Biographical Album of Oakland County, Michigan, page 201 + in the long bio of the family of Eli H. House, Caroline's second husband. All I know is that Caroline was first married to a Hiram Dean who was killed when run over by a team. [Dean is my family of interest].
I am hoping someone is descended from Caroline and would have some information for me. Caroline was born 21 June 1830 in Dallas, Luzerne, PA to Joseph Hunnewell and Sarah O. (Mann); last residence for them was Milford Twp., Oakland Michigan which is why I think there is a connection to one of the branches of my Dean families.
