Subject is thought to be the son of Roger Hunnewell and MARY (ADAMS) MOORE, m. 2 Oct 1700 in York, ME. Roger is the son of Richard (the Indian Killer) Hunnewell, and grandson of Roger, the immigrant. The story goes that JOHN HUNNEWELL (Jean-Baptiste Anawil) was captured during an Indian raid and raised by the Huron Indians near Quebec City.
