My mother was Caroline Hunnewell(Boston, 1912-1958) Her father and grandfather were both James. The original Hunnewells in our family was Ambrose Hunnewell who came to Bath Maine in 1661. He had 2 sons who then went onto Boston. One son started the Wellsley Hunnewells, the other son started my linaeage. The Hunnewells(my first cousins) are well & plentiful in Boston now.
