Hi PERRY:
Remember me?I stumbled onto this page and noticed your name, I hadn't seen it in quite awhile!I didn't realize you had only that first book we put out in 1976.As you can tell, it was quite a bit "smaller" than the next edition, as I kept getting such a volume of good information from various correspondents such as yourself. We put out a much larger edition due to the great quantity of newly assembled information; sorry you didn't get a copy. We've run out long ago, but as Richard W noted, you can review it on microfilm from the Mormon Church records, we gave them permission to copy it in that form for more dissemination. As for Simeon Rice H'ford, his background confuses me, we found him and his family twice in the same census, with the same kids and ages, so decided he got counted in both Vermont and Tennessee.Other references to his name occasionally have different dates, but I attribute that to the usual discrepencies one finds in one's own memory, as well as errors of the recorder.Even my own grandfather "lied" on his application to West Point so he could get in, and we never were sure which birthdate was the correct one to celebrate!Guess that's why we have diligent genealogists who go for the actual birth, marriage and death records, which aren't always correct either.
Good to read you're still interested in the Hungerfords!
