I'm researching your line. There are numerous Hungerford lines that aren't connected to the "published" lines--yours is one of them.I'm part of an international group that's attempting to document all Hungerfords (and the families springing from the female Hungerfords).I would be very interested in the information you have re this family.

Orson, born Nov 1851, married 24 years, born in NY, both parents born in PA.Lydia, born Oct 1857, mother of 3 children, 2 or 3 still living (ink blot), born in Michigan, both her parents born in NY.
Lydia, born Oct 1857, mother of 3 children, 2 or 3 still living (ink blot), born in Michigan, both her parents born in NY.George, born Jul 1879 in Michigan.
George, born Jul 1879 in Michigan.Cleo, born May 1892 in Michigan.
Cleo, born May 1892 in Michigan.I've been acquiring all Hungerford census entries (pretty sure I have at least 95% of the Federal ones) up to 1920.A quick scan of the 1855 NY State census led me to an Orson, born about 1851 in Orleans county, son of an L. L. (or S. S.--hard to read) and Charlotte Hungerford. They were located in Somerset, Niagara county, NY.The only problem is that neither of them was born in PA.That doesn't mean they aren't the parents of your Orson.(This happens a lot unfortunately.)I will review my other records and see if I can find other Orsons, etc.
