I found a site this morning that provided there are some problems in some Hungerford lines due to frauds committed by a Mr. Anjou in the 1920's and 1930's. I was wondering if anyone mentioned whether this line is
part of that problem. The site mentioning Mr. Anjou's fraud sited the following Family History Library call number for the faulty
Hungerford information: 929.273 A1 no. 548. The site I found this information on is http://www.linkline.com/personal/xymox/ if
you wish to confirm yourself. The site did not mention what the particular problem was with the Hungerford line, nor did it list
any additional information. Does anyone have access to the book cited at the FHC? I just got back from Utah, but I wasn't aware of
the Hungerford family line problem until my return today; therefore, I missed the opportunity to check it while at the center and the genealogy library in Salt Lake! I will have to order the microfilm and it takes me approximately 6 weeks to get it in
Minneapolis. If anyone gets a chance to see the information before I do, would you contact me with any pertinent information. It
appears that any information written or compiled by Mr. Anjou is contaminated with fraudulent documentation and fabrications.
