Schreier/Schreyer Family of Budapest
Posted by: Janet Macan (ID *****1003) Date: February 17, 2008 at 03:58:20

My mother in law, Zaida Macan, taught English in Budapest and lived with the Schreier/Schreyer family in the late 1920s. I believe there were 3 daughters, Vera, Gabi and Ana and the family was of Jewish descent. I think Vera married and went to live in Canada before WWII. My mother in law always believed that the rest of the family died in the Holocaust. I have some photos which might be of interest to surviving family members, so if anyone knows about this family please get in touch.
