Candy,
I think the name was originally Huntly in England. Probably way, way back our families connect. Some stayed in England, some went to Ireland and some to Scotland and then many immigrated here most to Virginia first.
I wish so many of them hadn't changed the spellings of the names so often as it really is confusing.
