This whole group is mixed up in my researches. I have Charles and Mary Bennet's daughter Elizabeth married to William Darling Simpson. Bennet Humphries in my records was married to an Elizabeth unknown. Charner was son of John and Elizabeth Timms and Charner married his first cousin Charlotte "Lottie" Humphries. Charlotte was daughter of Charles Humphries and Elizabeth "Betsy" Palmer. Charlotte married a 2nd time to Isaac Franklin Gregory. There are 2 Charner Humphries; one b. Nov 11, 1795 in Union, SC and another b. Aug 30, 1863 in Mississippi. It's very confusing to say the least. Charlene B
