Would like to find info on a Mary Humphrey whose maiden name was Cady; she was born about 1834 in Oneida County, NYS to Elias Cady 1805-1889 and his first wife whose name I have never been able to find. Elias's second wife was Fidelia or Fanny Andrews- they lived mostly in Oneida County, NYS. Elias had at least five children from his first marriage, and possibly six from his second.
In obits for her family Mary Humphrey's husband's name is never mentioned, but she is referred to as living in places like "Fayetteville" and "Skaneateles". I think Fayetteville was in Onondaga County and I did find a Mary Humphrey there in 1900 which fits to be her, with a married son named William Humphrey age 27 years, but where is Skaneateles?
Would like to find her on earlier census's and maybe an obit for her.
I am trying to find the name of her mother.
