I am curious as to this line, My great grandfathero b. 1874 was John Humphrey Harrington. I had thought that he was directly from Cork in Ireland. He came to Boston USA about the turn of the century and Married Catherine Fitzgerald, supposedly a cousin to Honey-Fitz the mayor of Boston. Thier son, my grandfather John Joseph Harrington, born 1902 married Regina Leonard. I have always thought that the leonard line in my family was from Prince Edward Isle in Canada. It seems an odd coincidence however, that your Humphreys and Harringtons are from PEI, perhaps my oral history is wrong and it was the Harringtons or Humphreys who originated from PEI. I am curious to know if you see any connection to your James Humphrey or Margaret Harrington. It is also curious to me that your own surname,e like mine is Harrington, I must assume then that Margaret is not a direct predecessor of yours, as the Harrington name would have been lost in marriage, so she must be a great aunt or something. I realize your post was quite some time ago and can only hope you still get messages.
