Humes Family Genealogy Forum

I am searching for a "J.O. Humes" who was married, briefly, to Sybil Francis Platt in 1873/74. She died in childbirth (twins)in 1874. Her monument appears to list an infant who died with her and later another child was added in 1874 the name listed as Honeygirl, obviously a nickname. I have had correspondence regarding a John Humes in Titusville who married a Ellen Hennesey (?) but there is no proof that is the correct J.O. Humes. Also I have found a Mrs. B. Humes listed on a Richmond, Crawford County map as landowner near Sybil's family farm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
