Mr. Humes,
I believe I may be a descendant of Nicholas Humes, but my information is somewhat sketchy.
My aunt has told me that within the US, our line began in Massachusetts, but she doesn't have the name of who it began with. We know that ultimately, my great-great grandfather ended up in Kentucky in the mid 1800's; his name was William Jackson Humes. I know this isn't much to go on, but do you have any information that could be of assistance?
