Hi Everybody,

I'm looking for ANY information about ANDREW HUME (b. c1785?, Bamburgh, England? - d.?) and AGNES STIRLING (b. 1787? Newcastle, England? - d. 1854, Sydney, Aust.)

They were married in 1803 in Eglingham, England and Ann migrated to Sydney, Australia in 1837-9 with 6 sons and 1 daughter. I'm not sure whether Andrew moved to Sydney with them. I can't find a death cert. for him.

The only source of info about Andrew and Anne that I've found is their marriage certificate, which is VERY basic. No details other than their names, date, and location of marriage.

I am very interested in tracing the Hume line back to the Homes/Humes in Scotland. ANY info about Humes in Newcastle, especially Andrew and his family, would be wonderful.

I'm also interested in tracing the Stirling line back to the nobility in Stirling, Scotland. Any info about AGNES/ANN STIRLING would be very much appreciated too.
