May be we can both learn something from each other.
Yes I have met Betty, who gave me some information,about Harry but not much about Charles, except that there was a daughter too, who was now in an old people's home and not very coherent. She didn't know where, so that has been a bit of a dead end.
I have discovered that Charles had a grocery business back in the 1920s/30s though.
Betty isn't very interested in the family although she was helpful. I only discovered them through a phone number and Harry was a bit guarded on the phone and didn't want to make contact. However he gave me an address in England to write to, a Tom Human in Bury St Edmunds, who sent me some info, which is how I found your name.
I see from previous messages that you were enquiring about the U.S branch,and you most likely know cousins in San Francisco. Did you also know about ones in Texas?
