Hi Ernie,

Yes, we have communicated before and I appreciate your response.

I have a book entitled"Humansville,Missouri Centennial,1872-1972" in which there are references to many of the early families of Humansville. My George family is included as is the Human family. On pages 13-16 under the heading HUMAN FAMILY is a lineage descending from James G.Human.The unknown contributor might be a descendant of the Rains family as there is a profile of that family just before that of the Human lineage. The lineage begins"James Gundy Human-Knox County,Te.-1798-3-8-1873-Sarah Hopper-1815-1858.JAMES GUNDY HUMAN-SARAH J.HOPPER MARRIED in 1815,Tennessee(ist wife)."There are several other references to James Gundy Human, such as the reference to him marrying Mary Ann Miller 12-25-1860.

Another reference as to his middle initial is on page 7 under the heading:

"A Family Reunion -August 1896"---
"Last Sunday the descendants and relatives of the late Hon.JAMES GEORGE HUMAN held a reunion at the residence of William Nance, one mile north of this city."

The name George would be reasonable but I have seen reference to a Gundy as being somehow connected to the George's through another researchers past postings.Inquiries have not gone anywhere however.I am also going to inquire about a George--Gundy connection as well.

Greg George
