Nice to hear from you. Yes indeed Maudie Jane was my maternal grandfather's half-sister. My late mother always referred to her as Aunt Maudie. My grandfather was the son of Louisa Hullinger and her first husband Lewis Stanton, my grandfather was Newton Stanton and he was raised in the household of Louisa and Stanton Jones as he was only about four or five when his birth father died, so for all practical purposes Stanton Jones was a father to him. My mother always referred to Louisa and Stanton Jones
as "Grandma and Grandpa Jones". My grandfather left OH about 1915 and came to Indiana in 1917, my grandfather was born near Larue, OH and his daughter, my late mother, was born in 1901 in Hardin County, OH.
Ernest "Joe" Gallant's brother John Gallant married my grandfather's sister Louisa Stanton but Louisa died quite young and John then remarried.
