I'm answering my own question. Olive COE married John HULLINGER August 31, 1820. They had 8 children together before John died in 1836. Olive (Coe) Hullinger then married Thomas J. POTTER September 10, 1837.
The family of Thomas J. Potter is found living in LaSalle Co., IL in the 1840 census. The household includes Thomas, Olive, and (presumably) 7 of her 8 children from Olive's previous marriage. Also in the household is one girl under age 5, presumed to be Thomas and Olive's daughter, Clarissa Potter.
I'm interested in hearing from any of John and Olive (Coe) Hullinger descendants. According to the Coe family history, the names of their children were: John Dudley Hullinger born June 14, 1821; Martin Hitt Hullinger born November 22, 1822; Harvey Coe Hullinger born December 2, 1824; Mariah Hitt Hullinger born September 05, 1826; William Sutton Hullinger born May 27, 1828; Elizabeth Margaret Hullinger born January 25, 1830; Caroline Sopheona Hullinger born September 25, 1832; and Mary Ann Barbara Hullinger born January 17, 1834.
My primary interest lies in finding information about the Potter line.
