Tristram² HULL (Josephı), b abt 1624 @ Northleigh, Devonshire;
came with his father Joseph abt 1635 to Mass. Became a sea captain.
He m. abt 1643, aged 19, (some say in England) to Blanch _________.
They had at least 6 children all b Barnstable, Mass, viz:
Mary, Sarah, Sarah, Joseph, John, Hannah.
The son Capt. John HULL, who m. Alice TEDDEMAN, made his will
dated 19 Jan 1733, prvd 9 Feb foll. @ Jamestown, RI, in which he
ordered the executors "to take care that my cousin Mark RIDLEY,
does not suffer or come to want." A check of his siblings and all
aunts and uncles, does not reveal a marriage to a RIDLEY. Could his
mother Blanch have been a RIDLEY, or had a sister who m. a RIDLEY &
had a son Mark ? Hopeful this will lead to the parentage of Blanch.
