Kristine
Thank you for responding to my post. What we have come up with so far is:
Joseph Chamberlin married Mary Young
Their daughter, Mary, married Mahlon Hull
Mahlon Hull and Mary Chamberlain/lin had a daughter, Mary Leora Hull, who married Samuel Rose Wiant (Wyatt or various spellings)
Samuel and Mary had four suriving daughters: Susan, Mary, Cora and Carrie. Also, a son, Mahlon, who apparently died young.Cora is my ggrandmother.
The Mary who married Mahlon Hull is listed on the 1880 census as living with Christopher Chamberlain as his widowed cousin. They were living in Morrow Co, OH
I have found Mahlon and his very large family living in PA, OH, WI and back to OH from 1797-1880.In fact, there are so many relatives, I still haven't figured out who fits where.
I would love to have a copy of Joseph's will and any other information you would give me and will gladly pay you for your expenses.I have two photos marked "Cora's grandmother (Mary Hull) and Cora's ggreatgrandmother (Mary Young) that have come down through our family.Since they are not otherwise named or dated, I will see if I can contact a historian who should be able to date them and maybe identify the location of the country.Let me know if you would like copies.
