I am double checking a transcript of notes made by a descendant of Samuel Hull (the notes said he was 7 in 1791 and later said he was born in 1784 in NJ). Notes gave he parents of Samuel as Isaac and Lucy (Vaughn) Hull and said that Rev. William Vaughn was a cousin, and that he established a church in Augusta, KY and another in Lexington. Also said he was a Baptist [New School]. Samuel had three sisters listed: Lucy, Patience and Polly. Other facts for Samuel: He married Sarah Wallinford and they had 10 children; at the age of 28 he was in 1812 War, serving under Harrison. The notes were compiled by Elizabeth Contee Bean Wilford from several sources: her Aunt Fentie, her sister Mary and her mother. Does this fit with your information? Can you direct me to a solid source? I'm not of this line, just starting to look into it, and I'm fumbling I know. Any help would be very welcome and much appreciated.
