IRVIN A. HULICK was born in Belmont, Ill., Oct. 12, 1854, and died at his
home in Lincoln Township, Monday, July 6, 1908, after an extended illness
with cancer of the stomach. He was married at Riggsville, Ill., March 18, 1886, to FLORENCE A. FOSTER. Seven children were born, of which five are living, four sons and one daughter, two died in infancy.
He was a devoted husband, a kind father and a good neighbor. He bore his
sufferings with great fortitude, and has gone to reap the reward of the just
Beside his wife and children, he leaves three brothers, who were with him
at the last. They are J.H. of Sioux Falls, S.D., E.H., of Monmouth, Ill., W. F., of Kansas City, also three sisters, MRS. CLARA FAIR, of Pueblo, Colo.,
MRS. EMMA OHLER, of Kiskword (sic), MRS. FANNIE FREEMAN, of Burns, Kans.
Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock,
conducted by Rev. McCullagh of the Presbyterian Church, and the remains
interred in the Chariton Cemetery.
