Thanks for the message, I now have the following information.John Hewish born 1806 married Ann Blackler, their known children are as follows: Sarah (1829),George (1831), Mercy (1834), William (1837), Elizabeth (1839) and Mary (1846). The gap suggests some may be missing.
William married Ann Withers and they had at least three children, George (1857), Sarah Ann (1860) and Henry (1865). I think it was Henry who went to Ohio, but know nothing else about him, so any information about his offspring etc would be very welcome. george married Annie Sperring and went to Australia. Elizabeth married George Dowling and had at least two children, William and Emma.
As to George Hewish marrying Grace Church in 1817, could he be an elder brother to John (1806). The Church family in another branch of my family that I am investigating.
Any help would be welsome!
