Hi Peter,
Im from Australia and have been doing my family tree research for years. Not sure if this will help, but I am from a line of Hugos from the Truro/Cornwall area.My great great great grandfather was a Henry Hugo born c1801 at Truro Cornwall who married a Charlotte Walters, they obviously later migrated to Australia,as both them and theyre three children died here also.Theyre children were Elizabeth Eliza b.1832-1835.Truro Cornwall
Avis Medling c.1838 Truro Cornwall
James b.1839-1842 Truro Cornwall
Hopefully this may help you a little if not maybe help me a little.
Cheers Tanya Vanderkley.Victoria Australia
